So basically the year is coming to an end. And of cause it's a season of lots of shopping, celebration, visiting/hanging out with family and all the fun things that comes with this timing . It is also the time when people look back through the year to recount their blessings , thanking God for each defining moment and also for bringing them this far. This right here is basically of the same purpose but from a fashion perspective. Yes! we're keeping it lockdown for you with the styles we couldn't get enough of this year. This trends like glue was stuck on anything and anywhere "fashhooon" was - you could find them on the runway , parry of all kinds , movie premieres with our celebs showing off their dressing skills. Nope! We didn't get bored because every time they popped up, it was on a different menu.



Agbada trend
Just when we thought we've seen it all from Ebuka stunning look at Bankys and Edesuwa marriage from designer @ugomonye , this trend took another turns entirely,having jaw dropping designs. This season fashion designers and style influencers had a lot to play with both on the runway and the "high way". We saw the trend on new fabric ditching the conservative "atiku "fabric to the use of cashmere, senator, etc we saw Agbada with sophisticated necklines and neckline design. Key designers like @voditailors, @vanskere, @yomicasual, @maiatafo and a host of others had a lot to show with this trend and the movie premiere of the merry men where stars had to come out with their Agbada game was the crown of it all.









Palazzo
Palazzo trend just like the the iconic LBD (little black dress) from coco channel, has become a staple that's ever green each coming season and hence a must item in the wardrobe of every fashion lover . This year we had a dose of it in our very own Kente and Ankara prints. This year we had the palazzo in Sporty but yet stylish Jersey fabric with high slit. The denim palazzo what's something to behold.
















Jumpsuit
Back in the day when you think of jumpsuit you think of a one piece garments with sleeves and legs and that's all, end of story. Pretty boring wasn't it? But this year introduced us to different styles of this piece like never before, with a lot of drama,edginess but chic in every way . We had jumpsuit with ruffles to once with over skirt. We had jumpsuit with exaggerated sleeves to one's with off the moon necklines.









Kaftan
This year the men refused to stay on the bench and let the ladies do all the fun with all that came with trends like the colours,fabric, drama etc. Well, while colors like black, white, blue and all the "usual" where still on, we had more pop/girlie colours like yellow, pink, burgundy and even floral print coming through with different outlook and of cause with pleat,fringe, asymmetric , change in the fabric. And of cause , order than the conventional two piece outfit, you can choose not to use the pants for a more smarty Jeans paired with a sneakers.
